Hello, Im Ashley! 

I am a certified Makeup Artist and licensed esthetician who has been in the beauty industry for 5+ years. I began in this industry working at multiple cosmetic companies to now owning my own salon studio called MXA Beauty Bar!  MXA Beauty originally started as makeupxashley, which many know as my freelance makeup business instagram name. Under that business I have worked on fashion shows, theatre productions, photoshoots, dances, weddings, worked along side companies at events, and many more. I went to Columbia College Chicago for theatrical, television and editorial makeup artistry experience as well as Universal Spa Training academy for Esthetics. 

After obtaining my license in esthetics I decided to expand my freelance makeup business and open up my own location to really grow as an artist and business owner. I am the owner of MXA Beauty Bar where I have custom advanced facials, full body waxing services specializing is Brows and Brazilians and then of course makeup. Located in the beautiful, quaint downtown Wheaton. Your skin is so important and no makeup look will look its best if the base isn't taken care of. I have a passion for making clients not only look good but feel good from the inside out!
