Hello, Im Ashley! 

I’m a certified Makeup Artist and licensed esthetician with 10+ years in the beauty world! I started out working for different cosmetic brands and eventually took the leap to open my own salon studio—MXA Beauty Bar! If you’ve been around for a while, you probably remember when MXA Beauty first started as makeupxashley, my OG freelance makeup page.

Through that journey, I’ve done it all—fashion shows, theatre productions, photoshoots, dances, weddings, collabs with brands at events… you name it. I trained at Columbia College Chicago for theatrical, TV, and editorial makeup, and at Universal Spa Training Academy for esthetics.

After getting my esthetics license, I knew it was time to grow my freelance business and create a space of my own. Now I’m the owner of MXA Beauty Bar, offering custom facials, brows, brazilians, and of course, all things makeup. I’m located in Bloomingdale, IL inside the Sola Salons!

I’m big on skin first—because makeup looks its best when your base is thriving. My goal? To help you look amazing andfeel even better, inside and out.
